Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Curanatics platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including patients, Care Managers, practitioners, and sponsors.

To use Curanatics you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent)
• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not have been previously banned from the platform

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@curanatics.com of any unauthorized use of your account. Curanatics is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to protect your credentials.

Curanatics is a technology platform, not a medical provider. The AI symptom checker and triage tools are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In the event of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Practitioners listed on Curanatics are independent professionals responsible for their own medical decisions and treatment.

All practitioners agree to:

• Maintain valid licensure with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or equivalent body
• Provide only services within their scope of practice
• Adhere to the Nigerian Medical and Dental Practitioners Act and applicable codes of ethics
• Maintain patient confidentiality as required by law
• Provide accurate information in their Curanatics profile

Consultation fees are set by practitioners and displayed clearly before booking. Payments are processed via Stripe. Curanatics charges a platform fee deducted from each consultation payment. Refund eligibility is as follows:

• Full refund: If you cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment
• 50% refund: If you cancel between 2–24 hours before the appointment
• No refund: If you cancel less than 2 hours before, or do not attend
• Full refund: If the practitioner cancels or does not attend

Funds committed by Sponsors are held in escrow and disbursed according to the allocation rules set by the Sponsor. Curanatics does not guarantee fund utilization rates. Unused funds may be withdrawn by the Sponsor subject to a 30-day processing period. Tax receipts are issued in NGN and USD as applicable.

You may not:

• Impersonate a medical professional or provide false credentials
• Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent payment systems
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content
• Harass or abuse practitioners, patients, or Curanatics staff
• Use the AI tools for any purpose other than genuine health triage

All Curanatics platform technology, AI models, branding, and content are owned by Curanatics Health Technologies Ltd. and protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. Your health records belong to you; the platform infrastructure belongs to Curanatics.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Curanatics's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific consultation in dispute. Curanatics is not liable for: (a) the medical decisions of practitioners; (b) outcomes of consultations; (c) indirect or consequential damages; (d) unavailability of the service.

Curanatics reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@curanatics.com. Upon termination, you may export your health records for 30 days before they are permanently deleted.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then mediation, and finally through the Lagos State High Court. Users in the EU retain rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws.
